With an emphasis on enjoyment, she makes it fun yet productive for the participants to write inspiring stories, whether they are complete beginners or have some experience of writing. Overcoming a personal or professional challenge, meeting an inspiring individual, witnessing an act of kindness, describing a positive initiative in their community, recounting how their dream business came to fruition….every story is personal and powerful in its telling. Writing it makes it even stronger and gives it wings to fly.

It was a real privilege to contribute to Westminster Abbey's recent celebration of St Edward's Day. Pilgrims to the shrine of Edward the Confessor completed the Abbey prayer trail with a visit to Poets' Corner. 

I was there waiting to encourage them to write a poem about their experience. Thirty six people wrote a poem, most of them for the first time.

I loved it and so did they. It is the first and only time my author and poet name, Claire-Louise Price, will appear in lettering in Poets' Corner! 

 I was delighted when Irish singer/songwriter Colin Andrew agreed to share an evening of poetry and folk guitar with me to help raise funds for Cancer Research UK. 

We met in August at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where he was playing his songs at an event on a canal barge. I was delighted when Colin agreed to my subsequent cheeky request to come and perform in South London!
